What determines the cost of pet relocation?
A meaningful pet shipping quote needs a real route and a defined scope. The same dog or cat can require different arrangements depending on the airline, destination, travel dates, and whether the owner is on the same flight.
We review your trip before discussing pricing. There is no published flat rate on this site because it would not describe the full range of journeys we assess.
Compare the items, not just the total
| Item | Question to ask |
|---|---|
| Flight arrangements | Which flights and pet reservations are covered? Does the price assume the owner is traveling? |
| Travel container | Is a carrier or container included, or can an existing one be used? |
| Veterinary preparation | Which appointments, tests, or certificates are paid directly to the veterinarian? |
| Official processes | Are applicable endorsement, permit, inspection, or facility fees included? |
| Departure and arrival | Are local transfers, collection, and handover services included? |
| Coordination | What work is included, and where does the agreed service start and end? |
Some items will not apply to your route. Ask for the currency, exclusions, payment terms, and any conditions that could change the quoted amount.
Separate included services from separate payments
Your written proposal should distinguish our coordination and transport services from payments made directly to airlines, veterinarians, authorities or arrival providers. A service listed on the website is not automatically included in every quote.
Confirm who books and pays for each item, the currency, quote validity and any exclusions before accepting. If you already have a flight or crate, tell us so we can assess whether it fits the proposed arrangement.
Why a quote can change
A different flight, larger container, changed date, additional document requirement, or revised handover can change the scope. Make the assumptions explicit before comparing two offers.
If your dates are flexible, say so at the start. It gives us more itineraries to assess, although a cheaper passenger fare does not necessarily mean a lower total pet relocation cost.
Confirm the terms before payment
- The itinerary assumptions and what remains subject to confirmation.
- The agreed collection and final handover points.
- The payment schedule and recipients.
- Cancellation, rescheduling and third-party refund conditions.
- How a change in dates, documents or service scope will be handled.
These terms belong in your individual proposal. We do not publish a universal refund promise or starting price that may not apply to your journey.
What we need for your quote
- Departure and destination city and country.
- Preferred dates and any flexibility.
- Each pet’s species, breed, age and weight in lb or kg.
- Any existing bookings or preparation you want us to know about.
- Whether the owner will fly and who will receive the pet.
Start with those details; we will request measurements, carrier details and travel records when needed for the assessment. We can then discuss feasible options and the services needed for your trip. If you are still choosing a destination, tell us which countries you are considering.
Separate service fees from official fees
Veterinary appointments and government processes are not the same service as relocation coordination. For example, USDA endorsement, when required, has its own fee structure. The USDA pet travel overview links to current endorsement information.
Use the quote to identify who receives each payment and what it covers. That makes the budget more useful than an unexplained starting price.
LET’S ARRANGE THE JOURNEY
Your companion.
Your next chapter.
Tell us where your pet is and where they need to go. We will organize the journey around them.
Start with the route
Share your departure and destination cities, your pet’s breed and weight, your preferred dates, and whether you will travel together. We will assess the route and prepare a transport proposal with the services included.
