Plan the flight and the handover together
The airport, your home and the person receiving your pet may be in different places. Tell us the final city and emirate, even if you already have an airport in mind. We agree where our service starts and finishes, including any collection or onward transfer in the proposal.
Your managed transport plan can include:
- Route and flight arrangements, with pet acceptance checked for the proposed itinerary.
- A preparation schedule connecting veterinary work, documents and the required permit process.
- Travel-container arrangements appropriate to the pet and transport format.
- Departure, arrival and original-document handovers with the responsible people.
- Agreed contact points and updates during the move.
We coordinate the complete agreed journey. Airlines operate flights, veterinarians carry out veterinary work, and the relevant authorities issue permits and make entry decisions.
Bringing a dog or cat to the UAE
The UAE's Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, MOCCAE, requires an advance import permit for dogs and cats. Arrival inspection and release are separate steps. The pet's identification, veterinary records, country of export and breed need to be checked against the current requirements.
We bring those preparation steps together with the flight and agreed arrival services. Tell us whether this is your pet's first move to the UAE or a return journey, and how many pets are traveling.
The federal import process is one part of the plan. Your proposal also identifies the actual airport, the arrival services included and the onward handover for your destination emirate. Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other emirates are assessed around the specific journey.

Moving a pet from the UAE
Start with where your pet is now and the country and city they need to reach. We assess the international route, departure arrangements and receiving side together, whether you plan to travel alongside your pet or separately.
MOCCAE provides the veterinary health certificate process for export or re-export. The destination's requirements and any transit conditions must also be checked. We coordinate the preparation timetable with the proposed transport and the people issuing the documents.
If your pet will later return to the UAE, include that in the initial discussion so the return requirements can be considered before departure.

Will you and your pet travel together?
Share your own travel dates and any existing bookings. The available transport format depends on your pet, the route and the operating airline. We confirm the proposed arrangements before booking.
If your pet travels separately, we agree who hands them over at departure, who receives them and how the original documents travel with them. If you already have flights, a container or veterinary appointments arranged, tell us what is in place so it can be assessed as part of the whole move.
What will your UAE transport proposal include?
The price depends on the cities, dates, pet and container size, travel format and the preparation and handover services needed. A move that finishes at an airport has a different scope from one with onward delivery.
Your proposal sets out the agreed services, total and currency, responsibilities and conditions. It also identifies any veterinary, permit, airline, airport-handling or other local-provider costs paid separately. Collection and delivery are described by the handover points included.

- Preferred dates and any flexibility.
- Each pet's species, breed, age and weight.
- Whether you will travel with your pet, separately or not at all.
