LeShuttle: plan the vehicle and pet together
For an ordinary pet journey, arrange a vehicle booking: you cannot simply board LeShuttle as a foot passenger with a dog or cat. Your pet stays with you in the vehicle during the crossing. Add the pet to your booking and check its documents before setting off.

LeShuttle’s pet page advises arriving at least 90 minutes before the booked departure. Its Pet Reception FAQ separately asks you to check in your pet at least one hour before the booked departure. Keep arrival and pet check-in separate, and follow the instructions for your booking.

Eurostar: check every train in the itinerary
Ordinary pets are not accepted on Eurostar trains to or from London. Permission to take a pet on another rail segment does not make the London connection eligible.

Some continental Eurostar services accept pets under their own rules. The main pet page excludes Brussels–Lille, Netherlands–Lille and Sun/Snow services as well. Check the exact train rather than relying on the Eurostar name alone.
Arrange assistance-dog travel separately
Eurostar’s London procedure requires advance approval and a separate animal ticket. Its assistance page says to contact the team at least 24 hours ahead; the pet FAQ says 48 hours. Arrange this well ahead and confirm the requirement for your journey rather than relying on the shorter deadline.

LeShuttle asks you to book the dog as an assistance dog and provide credible evidence of its training when requested. Assistance status does not remove border-document requirements.

Before paying for the journey
For entry into Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), check the approved route and the operator’s acceptance rules separately. Being listed as an approved carrier does not mean every animal can travel. Prepare the documents required for the country you are travelling from.
