Hull–Rotterdam: P&O
P&O lists dog-friendly cabins and onboard kennels for dogs on this route. Do not assume a dog cabin accepts cats: confirm the cat’s accommodation before booking. Travelling without a vehicle needs particular care: P&O’s pet guide discusses Hull foot passengers with pets, but its foot-passenger FAQ says ordinary pets are not accepted. Ask P&O to resolve this for your booking before relying on the route. Pet guide · Foot-passenger FAQ
Newcastle–Amsterdam: DFDS
Dogs and cats can accompany foot passengers or vehicle passengers. Book suitable accommodation: pet-friendly cabins accept dogs and cats; kennels are for dogs. Confirm the booking process and check-in instructions for your departure with DFDS. Pet policy
Harwich–Hook of Holland: Stena Line
Dogs and cats can travel with or without a vehicle. Foot passengers must book a kennel or pet-friendly cabin. Confirm availability in advance; do not expect routine vehicle-deck access during the crossing. Route pet rules
Assistance dogs and documents
Arrange assistance-dog travel separately with the operator before booking; recognition and accommodation requirements differ. A ferry accepting an animal does not establish border eligibility. Check the separate Great Britain and European Union document guides, and follow your sailing’s current check-in instructions.
