Flying with a pet
on Belavia.

1. Cabin options

Belavia’s under-seat allowance is 8 kg including carrier, maximum 55 × 40 × 20 cm. Economy separate-seat carriage allows 23 kg combined, maximum 55 × 40 × 40 cm.

2. Fit and cost

Separate-seat carriage needs approval, a seat ticket and pet fee; at most one animal per flight may use it. The carrier must stay closed throughout flight and allow sitting, standing upright, turning around and lying naturally.

Before spending money, ask for a written answer covering the exact flight, animal, carrier and cabin arrangement. Ask what happens to both bookings if the flight changes. Keep the approval with the itinerary rather than relying on a generic policy screenshot.

3. Breed and route

Listed brachycephalic pets are cabin-only. Belavia’s UAE-arrival rule requires cargo; together, these conditions may prevent that itinerary.

4. Prepare one clear request

Start with your departure and destination, preferred dates, and your pet’s breed, age and weight. If available, add carrier measurements, a photograph and any flights already booked. List every connection and operating airline.

Ask which part still needs approval: the pet, the container, the seat arrangement, or arrival documentation. Keep those answers together so a confirmed passenger seat is not mistaken for a completed pet-travel plan.
