Cabin pets and flight capacity
Domestic flights accept cats and dogs: one pet per passenger, five pets flightwide. No animals travel as checked baggage or cargo; ordinary pets cannot fly internationally.
The contract states a 25 lb pet limit. Confirm whether the carrier is included before booking. Pets stay enclosed onboard, with room to stand and turn; airline inspection is required. Avoid Ascent, the row immediately behind it, and exit rows.

Carrier size and baggage allowance
Use a soft-sided carrier fitting beneath the seat ahead. Breeze publishes 17 × 8 × 13 inches as length × width × height for standard and extra-legroom seats. Do not silently swap the dimension labels when choosing a carrier. It uses your personal-item allowance; Ascent underseat space is unsuitable.

Booking, fees and connections
Ask Breeze to confirm pet space and the complete fee before paying. A current numeric pet fee, pet-booking cutoff, minimum age and detailed veterinary-document checklist were not independently verified from the accessible official pages.
Confirm acceptance and charges for each flight, including return travel, changes of aircraft and BreezeThru stops. No pet-specific blanket connection prohibition was verified; that does not guarantee space on another flight. Do not assume baggage-fee connection rules settle pet charges.
Use Contact Us or Contact Support on the official website. Breeze also lists SMS support at 501-273-3931; this is a text channel, not a staffed voice reservations line. Submit documents only through the channel Breeze verifies.

Service dogs and emotional support
Qualifying service dogs travel free. Breeze describes accommodating up to two per disabled passenger; the ordinary-pet quota is not a service-dog cap. Dogs cannot use seats or tray tables. Carrier seating restrictions also apply when a service dog travels in a carrier.
Submit the DOT air-transport form through Breeze’s Contact Center and obtain its approval response. The contract requests 48 hours’ notice and a relief form for flights exceeding eight hours; federal qualifications below matter.

Task-trained dogs assisting a disability, including psychiatric disabilities, qualify under U.S. rules. Emotional support alone and training-in-progress do not. For an accommodation dispute, request the airline’s Complaints Resolution Official.

Late bookings and the eight-hour boundary
For reservations made more than 48 hours before the first originally scheduled departure, U.S. rules permit a 48-hour submission requirement. For bookings made less than 48 hours ahead, forms may be submitted at the departure gate. A missed advance deadline still requires reasonable accommodation efforts without delaying the flight.
The federal relief-form threshold is a segment scheduled for eight hours or longer, including exactly eight hours. Complete current forms on or after ticket purchase. Government animal-entry documentation may be additional.

Space, control and safety
Plan safe lap or foot-space accommodation without obstructing another passenger’s exit. If space is insufficient, discuss another available seat in the same service class, an additional ticket, or a later flight before paying. An extra seat does not let a dog sit on the seat.

Keep the dog under control. Significant disruption or a direct threat can justify refusal, but U.S. rules require an individual assessment and consideration of measures that could resolve the problem. Breed alone is insufficient.

Government requirements and final checks
Service-dog acceptance on an international itinerary remains subject to destination rules. Airline approval does not grant entry permission or local public-access rights.
