PETS DELIVERY EXPERT
International pet transport to and from Great Britain
Pets Delivery Expert organizes turnkey international transport for dogs and cats moving to or from England, Scotland and Wales. We bring route planning, flight arrangements, travel-document coordination and agreed handovers into one managed service.
Tell us where your pet is now, their final destination and your preferred dates. We assess the journey before you commit to a flight.
Great Britain means England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland has a separate pet-travel process; tell us if Belfast or another Northern Irish destination is part of your journey.
Prepare your journey details, then review and send your message in WhatsApp or your email app. You can also contact us directly below.
One plan for the complete agreed journey
A move involves preparation at departure, an accepted transport route and someone ready to receive your pet. We organize those stages together, with responsibilities set out in the proposal.
The agreed service can include:
- Route and flight arrangements, including connections and carrier acceptance.
- A preparation timetable and travel-document coordination.
- Travel-container arrangements for the accepted format.
- Departure and arrival handovers, with collection or onward delivery where included.
- Coordination of the receiving contact and document handover.
Your proposal identifies where the service begins and ends. Airlines operate flights, veterinarians carry out veterinary work and authorities make entry decisions.
Bringing a dog or cat to Great Britain
We start with the country of departure, the pet’s records and the final city and handover point in England, Scotland or Wales. The entry pathway determines which documents and veterinary appointments need to fit the journey.
Great Britain’s pet-travel rules cover identification, rabies preparation, the appropriate travel document and, for dogs where applicable, tapeworm treatment. Tell us your dog’s breed or type at the start so any entry restriction can be checked.

Choose the arrival route before booking
For ordinary international pet arrivals by air, GOV.UK requires cargo transport. It lists exceptions for chartered private aircraft and eligible guide or assistance dogs. These exceptions still need the relevant approval and carrier arrangements; they do not establish an ordinary in-cabin option for every pet.
We assess the operating carrier, permitted entry point, receiving arrangements and onward journey together. A flight that accepts pets elsewhere may not provide the required arrival service in Great Britain. Sea and rail options also depend on the actual carrier and route.

APHA’s published approved-route list currently has no approved routes to Wales. For a Welsh destination, we plan the appropriate entry arrangements and onward handover. Exemptions from the approved-route requirement exist for arrivals from UK countries, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland.

Your travel dates help determine the import pathway
Send your own itinerary alongside your pet’s proposed dates. Under Great Britain’s rules, a pet arriving more than five days before or after its owner, or moving because of a sale, rehoming or ownership transfer, follows the commercial import requirements. Other triggers can also apply, including larger groups outside the event exception.

An authorized person may travel with your pet when the applicable conditions are met; written authorization is required. We assess the actual arrangement before setting the document timetable.

If you have already moved or will remain elsewhere, tell us at the start. Read about pet transport without the owner for the handover details to prepare.
Moving a pet from Great Britain
For an outbound move, we build the plan around the destination country, any transit points and the final city and handover point. Preparation can include destination-specific permits, veterinary testing or quarantine arrangements, depending on the journey.
GOV.UK publishes separate procedures for EU and non-EU destinations. We coordinate the applicable certification timetable with the agreed transport. Your veterinarian and the relevant authorities confirm the required documents. If you expect to return to Great Britain, include that trip in the initial assessment.

What your transport proposal should include
The quote depends on the cities, dates, pet and container size, transport format, preparation and agreed departure or arrival services. A connection or onward transfer can change both the arrangements and the cost.
Your proposal sets out the total and currency, included services, handover points and conditions. Separate veterinary, authority, airline, airport-handling or local-provider payments should be identified so you can compare the whole journey.
Request a Great Britain transport proposal
Start with your departure and final destination cities, preferred dates, each pet’s species, breed, age and weight, and whether you will travel together. Add your own travel dates, any ownership change and any flights or preparation already arranged.
We will assess the route and prepare a proposal for the complete agreed transport service.
