One service for the agreed journey
A flight is one part of the move. We bring the departure preparation, accepted transport route and receiving arrangements together in a proposal with clear responsibilities.
The agreed service can include:
- Route and flight arrangements, including connections and pet acceptance.
- A preparation calendar and travel-document coordination.
- Travel-container arrangements for the accepted format.
- Departure and arrival handovers, with collection or onward delivery where included.
- The receiving contact, original-document handover and planned update points.
The proposal sets out where our service begins and ends. Airlines operate flights, veterinarians carry out veterinary work and authorities decide admission.
Moving a dog or cat to the United States
Send the final U.S. city and state or territory, along with your pet’s country history. We assess the entry pathway before choosing an arrival airport and onward handover.
Dogs: CDC requirements depend on the countries visited during the six months before entry and where rabies vaccination was given. USDA and destination-state requirements can also apply. Our U.S. dog-entry guide helps organize that assessment.

Cats: federal cat requirements differ from the dog process. The destination state or territory and the airline must also be checked. Use our U.S. cat-entry guide for the separate layers of preparation.

Tell us about a sale, adoption or planned ownership change. Dogs imported for resale can need additional APHIS Animal Care permissions and documents. The actual purpose is assessed; hiring a transport provider does not by itself establish that resale category.

Moving a pet from the United States
The destination country sets the entry conditions for an outbound move. We coordinate the travel timetable with the required veterinary preparation, permits and certification, including USDA endorsement when the destination requires it.
Contact a USDA-accredited veterinarian early. Share all planned countries, connections and whether the pet travels with a person or separately. If you expect to return to the United States, include the return in the assessment before departure.

The route and travel format are chosen together
Cabin, accompanied hold and cargo options depend on the operating airline, pet and itinerary. We check the proposed format, container and handovers before confirming the plan. Your veterinarian assesses fitness for the journey, and the airline can impose additional conditions.

Tell us if you have already moved, will take a different flight or will remain elsewhere. For separate travel, the departure contact, person receiving the pet and original-document handover need to be agreed in advance.

The quote depends on the cities, dates, animal and container size, transport format and preparation. Connections and the final handover can change both the arrangements and the cost.
Your proposal sets out the total and currency, included services, handover points and conditions. Identify any separate veterinary, authority, airline or local-handling payments when comparing options.

Send your departure and final destination cities and countries, the U.S. state or territory, preferred dates, and each pet’s species, breed, age and weight. Add whether you will travel together and any flights or preparation already arranged.
For dogs entering the USA, include the previous six months of country history and where rabies vaccination was given. Mention any sale or adoption so we can assess the correct procedure.
